Ya Ya Foods USA LLC is Hiring a Supply Chain Planner Near Ogden, UT

Reporting to the Director of Supply Chain, the Supply Chain Planner is a highly motivated self-starter. This role is responsible for end-to-end supply chain management for the procurement and delivery of goods, cost control, and all related activities in inventory management. Working closely with customers, manufacturing operations and quality the Supply Chain Planner will find ways to improve inventory management while planning, forecasting, researching, and identifying opportunities for growth. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic individual who possesses strong analytical skills and a passion for supply chain management.

Responsibilities

  • Place purchase orders as required based on demand and reschedule and expedite as demand changes.
  • Monitor vendor production schedules and vendor capacity to identify and plan for risk to delivery time and over-capacity situations.
  • Master S&OP process, handle demand reviews and supply reviews.
  • Manage multiple expectations while collaborating with cross functional teams.
  • Foster new and existing business relationships by having a thorough understanding of customers’ needs.
  • Manage planning and purchasing by using MRP functionalities.
  • Ensure production teams consistently have sufficient ingredients, equipment, components process operations smoothly.
  • Maintain dashboards.
  • Coordinate with suppliers daily to secure products, discuss product orders updates, changes in delivery
  • Observe all safety rules and promote a safe working environment with team members.
  • Maintain strict GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
  • Compliance with all rules & policies regarding health safety, occupational safety, environmental safety, food safety, legal regulations, company requirements, etc.
  • Compliance with the Company's Integrated Management Systems which includes, but is not limited to Production, Quality, Food Safety & GMP.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Profile

  • University degree or college diploma in supply chain or related field-required
  • 2 years of hands-on experience in demand & supply chain preferably within food manufacturing and/or beverages
  • Demonstrated success in problem solving, and prioritizing demand planning strategic initiatives
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills to influence stakeholders at different levels
  • Financial acumen and proven analytical and process skills
  • Proficient computer skills with a focus on Excel (Microsoft Suite of Applications, Dynamics AX), and instructional software
  • Skill in organization, time management, and the ability to meet deadlines for multiple tasks
