THE ROLE: The label technician will be responsible for creating and organizing labels and nameplates for the production floor. In this role, the individual will also operate labeling equipment such as label printers, nameplate stampers, monitor labeling machinery to maintain smooth operation and troubleshoot any issues that arise. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

• Basic computer skills for operating labeling software and maintaining electronic records.
• Familiarity with automated labeling systems and software.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues with labeling equipment.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and proactive problem-solving.
• Additional duties and responsibilities may be required based on organizational needs.
• Organizational skills.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification in labeling technology is a plus.
• Basic computer skills for operating labeling software and maintaining electronic records.
• Proven experience operating labeling equipment in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy under pressure.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

DAY IN THE LIFE:

In this role, the working environment is an office with standard office equipment and the physical demands may include but not limited to light lifting (20-25 lbs), regularly required to sit or stand and move about the facility. In addition, this role has standard weekly 40 hours.

SALARY:

The estimated salary range for this position is $21.00 to $25.00 plus bonus. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range.
