Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Inventory Associate. As an Inventory Associate, you will be responsible for managing inventory levels, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and optimizing supply chain efficiency. This is a vital role in our organization that requires strong analytical skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies
- Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with procurement team to ensure optimal stock levels
- Utilize warehouse management systems to track and manage inventory
- Categorize inventory items and implement category management strategies
- Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers to optimize procurement processes
- Collaborate with finance team to perform financial analysis related to inventory management
- Handle materials and goods in a safe and efficient manner
- Utilize AS400 system for data entry and reporting purposes
- Procure necessary supplies and equipment for the organization
- Analyze market trends using tools such as Nielsen to make informed inventory decisions
Qualifications:
-Must Be Bilingual in English and Spanish
-1st shift
-Must have Forklift Order Picker Experience
- Previous experience in inventory management or related field preferred
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
- Proficient in using warehouse management systems and other inventory software
- Familiarity with financial analysis related to inventory management
- Knowledge of materials handling best practices
- Excellent negotiation skills for supplier relationship management
- Proficient in using AS400 system for data entry and reporting purposes
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
