Job Details

Job title: Program Manager - M&A

Location: San Jose, CA (3 days onsite in a week)

Contract

Ideal Candidate Skillsets

  1. Experience coordinating all faces of the project lifecycle reqmts gathering & design, coordinate development, coordinate technical and business testing, cutover and post golive support
  2. Experience with M&A Projects - transitioning organizations from legacy to new platforms
  3. Experience tracking requirements and development in JIRA or similar tool
  4. Experience with Marketing, sales systems, and related dependencies (i.e. SAP Finance) is a plus

Services

  1. Oversees timeline, quality, and operations
  2. Understands overall scope and deliverables map against release timeline
  3. Responsible for ensuring coordination of work efforts at program level, understands and manages critical path key dependencies
  4. Works with Track Leads and Program Managers to understand status of work efforts and impact to the program to move delivery forward
  5. Drives resolution of risks, issues and decisions, and escalates to governance forums as necessary
  6. Establishes approach, tools, and templates to support program execution
  7. Provides status, guidance and impediment review to sponsors & stakeholders
  8. Facilitates Track, Cross Functional Team, Program Scrum of Scrums meetings to communicate and address risks, issues, actions, decisions, dependencies, and milestones delivery for the program

Deliverables

  1. Execution Phase: Status Reports, Success Metrics Log Entries, RAID log Entries, Change log Entries, Escalation Procedure, Team Building Exercises, Team Recognition, Transition to Support Deck
  2. Close Phase: Warranty Period Agreement, Executive Summary of Validated Benefits Realization, and Summary of Retrospective Lessons Learned

Requirements

Must Have

  1. Must have 4-7 years of Program Management experience (understanding/working on large end-to-end programs)
  2. Experience managing projects from coordinating requirements gathering and design, coordinating development efforts across multiple Scrum Teams, preparations and oversight execution of End to End Testing, go live preparations and transition to support activities
  3. Drive project execution by monitoring project status, gathering customer responses and needs, monitoring project scope and watching for potential roadblocks
  4. Experience with transformational projects and/or Cloud-related projects
  5. Must be a quick learner who can connect the dots
  6. Will be managing big initiatives, interacting with key executive-level stakeholders
  7. Advanced skills in SharePoint, JIRA and MS Office Excel and PowerPoint
  8. Program/Project management experience using a formal methodology including Agile, scrum, Waterfall
  9. Scrum knowledge to swiftly coordinate with Scrum team or run scrums if required
  10. Experience managing software development programs, >2 is a plus
  11. Created project plans which includes scope, schedule, cost, quality, organization, communication, staffing, risk and issue management
  12. Ability to multi-task between concurrent assignments, prioritize effectively, and adapt quickly to changing priorities, assignments, and roles; works well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  13. Creative and proactive problem solver self-motivated with ability to work well in teams and cross-departments

Nice to Have

  1. Working experience as Scrum Master for 2-3 years
  2. Knowledge in SAP ECC, SFDC technologies
  3. Impact and influence In times of high pressure, you listen to different perspectives, evaluate, persuade and carefully shape team's work to deliver truly impactful results
