Security Officer -Weekend Day Shift

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented Security Officer -Weekend Day Shift to join our fast-growing team.

In this role you’ll get to:

• Ensure a safe environment through a team effort of diligent active patrol, strict access control, monitoring, and equipment control.
• Patrol property on foot, ensuring personnel, assets, buildings, vehicles, and gates are secure.
• Be always visible and observant, greeting staff, guests, and vendors in a courteous and attentive manner.
• Ensure all contractors and visitors are signed in and issued appropriate access control.
• Maintain the company’s reputation with professionalism and compliance.
• Investigate and take the appropriate action on accidents, incidents, trespassing, suspicious activities, and emergency response incidents.
• Control and monitor cctv equipment and perform building and equipment inspections.
• Complete daily reports, including relevant information, observations, and signatures.
• May be potential cover for week day night shifts.

To excel you will need:

• Proven experience as security officer or guard
• Knowledge of legal guidelines for area security and public safety
• Familiarity with report writing.
• Trained in First Aid
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Must be available to work rotating night shifts
