Intern Mechanical Design Engineer

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Intern Mechanical Design Engineer to join our fast-growing team. 

In this role you’ll get to:

• Supporting with prototyping of design concepts.
• Supporting product testing and test data capturing.
• Supporting with test data analyses and test report writing.
• Updating and managing part files in Solid Works.
• Some design of parts, jig and fixturing.
• Look after 3D printer and printing of prototype parts..

To excel you will need:

• Product design or mechanical design engineer preferred.
• CAD proficient, SolidWorks ideally.
• Product design & development experience.
• Experience of the design development cycle.
• Experience with engineering tools, such as creating tolerance stacks, risk assessment (FMEA), creating test plans, and DOE’s.
• Experience with 3D printed

• Experience using Ansys for FEA and/or CFD simulation
