Join XTS in a rare opportunity as a Geospatial Programmer Analyst in support of the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency’s elite Research & Development Team. Looked upon your combined expertise in geospatial knowledge and programming skills, you will assist in developing and customizing software tools and applications, designing and implementing geospatial databases for efficient storage and retrieval of geospatial data, creating of web-based GIS applications, and automating geospatial workflow to streamline data analysis, mapping, and visualization. You will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing geospatial solutions—transforming user requirements into efficient and scalable software applications that support geospatial analysis and visualization to elevate the future of geospatial capabilities.Requirements

Current active Top Secret / SCI clearance with the willingness to take a polygraph exam.
You have completed an academic achievement of a Master’s degree 9 years of relevant experience OR Bachelor’s degree 12 years of relevant experience.
You have a strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python for software design, development, and maintenance of geospatial software applications and tools.
Experienced in web frameworks such as FastAPI and Flask to enable the development of backend services handling of data request, in order to build scalable geospatial applications.
Versatile in databases and geospatial extensions such as PostgreSQL and PostGIS for enabling efficient spatial queries and managing and analyzing complex geospatial data.
Familiar with geospatial servers and mapping libraries such as GEOSERVER and Leaflet in order to deploy and manage geospatial services for web mapping applications and creating engaging and user-friendly web-maps for geospatial applications.
Expert in CI/CD tools such as GitLab, Jenkins, etc. to automate the testing and deployment process, ensuring reliability and efficiency in geospatial application deployment.

Desired

Knowledge of NGA CORE, which outlines a common environment for modern software development and operations in order to assist NGA in preparation of the capability for NGA CORE compliance.
Knowledge of Research Lab Environment (RLE)
