We’re hiring a Turn Down Housekeeper to Live. Work. Explore. in Death Valley National Park!

Job Summary:The Turndown Guest Room Attendant is responsible for evening room turndown at The Inn at The Oasis at Death Valley. Cleans guest rooms as needed according to established guidelines and standards as set by the Executive Housekeeper.

Start Dates: April 2024
Pay: $16.65
Schedule: Typical schedule is 40 hours, 5 days/per week (may include weekends, evenings, and holidays)

• Folds back bedspread, turns up pillows.
• Straightens and cleans bathroom.
• Replaces or straightens used towels.
• Replenishes used amenities; empties waste baskets.
• Straightens room.
• Replaces used glasses, replenishes ice and adjusts room lighting.
• Cleans guest rooms according to set standards.
• Cleans areas outside of guest rooms such as patios and hallways.
• Responsible for issued master key.
• Turns in all items found in vacant rooms.
• All other duties as assigned.

• Must be courteous to guests and fellow employees.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must adhere to grooming standards.
• Must adhere to all safety guidelines.

Preferred:

• At least 6 months to 1 year previous housekeeping experience.
• Must have valid driver's license and good driving record.

Physical Requirements include:

• Must be able to lift 30 pounds.
• Must be able to bend, push, pull, kneel, lift and stand for extended periods of time. 100% of job involves being on your feet.
• Must be able to work in extreme temperatures.
