Job Summary:

Marketing Manager

Salary range is $75k-$90k

Typical hours are 8-5 (some exceptions)

Summary/Objective:

The Marketing Manager is the liaison between the creative team, senior management, and other support roles to ensure the success of marketing campaigns and internal projects designed to grow/maintain company’s brand and reputation. The manager helps create and then oversee day-to-day execution of marketing plans and provides specialized skillsets/experiences to fulfill various in-house and outsourced production needs. Will oversee Marketing Supervisor and Analyst and reports to Vice President of Operations.

Essential Functions:

  • Supports the Director of Marketing in transforming data gathered from research, analytical activities, and field observations into highly effective and creative marketing campaigns.
  • Responsible for the following:
  • Lead the creation and execution of marketing programs (campaigns) from start to finish.
  • Evaluate and report on the performance of marketing campaigns.
  • Oversee branding, advertising, and promotional campaigns.
  • Create, get approval, and publish social media posts.
  • Write copy for digital and print media.
  • Do research, conduct interviews, write, and publish content.
  • Oversee production of customer-based newsletter.
  • Work with sales management to create sales presentations (mostly PowerPoint).
  • Manage, monitor, and improve SEO, both natural and paid.
  • Facilitate trade shows, networking events, sales meetings, and customer visits.
  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of both standard and customer-specific catalogs (both print and digital).
  • Oversee website design, maintenance, and monitoring.
  • Oversee graphic design.
  • Manage the marketing department’s staff, set goals, and evaluate progress.
  • Conduct routine meetings with departmental staff.
  • Manage employees’ attendance and do performance reviews.

Job Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Bachelor's Degree required (Marketing or Management)
  • 5 years overall business experience including Marketing, Sales, Creative Design preferred
  • Project management preferred
  • Possess strategic thinking and planning skills
  • Ability to effectively use PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
  • Outstanding communication skills (i.e., writing) and a proven capability to present complex concepts in a concise and understandable way to a variety of audiences
  • Possess developed financial literacy and business acumen
  • Must be deadline-oriented
  • Ability to work independently and proactively to corporate or department goals
  • Travel up to 5% to networking event and trade shows
