Channel Operations Specialist - Cloud About the Role Rapid7 is seeking a Channel Partnership Operations Specialist, a fundamental role that is critical to enabling and supporting the growth and success of Rapid7’s Cloud partner ecosystem. This role will be the center point of Cloud Specialist operations, working hand in hand with the global team to design and create operational processes, reporting and system enhancements that will support the evolution of our global Cloud partnership strategy. They will help establish defined success metrics that provide critical insights into the effectiveness of our Cloud programs and partnerships. About the Team We are a dynamic and innovative team that continuously seek opportunities to improve and streamline business processes through cross-functional partnership in order to accelerate and achieve operational excellence. The role requires a strong collaborator who can successfully work in a performance-based, dynamic and cross-functional organization to drive consensus, contribute innovative ideas and build executable plans based on company and regional strategic initiatives. In this role, you will: Be at the forefront of the development of new and enhanced operational processes that can be adopted and integrated globally across our Cloud Program, with an initial focus on how we partner with Amazon Web Services (AWS) at scale. Document existing processes to ensure there is a clear understanding of how we currently leverage our tools and systems to support our sales process. Using these processes as a way of identifying areas for enhancing our operational procedures - always striving for operational excellence. Establish and maintain operational partnerships with our Cloud Partnership Team to gain a clear understanding of regional strategy execution, goals and become the primary point of contact for all Cloud Operations enquiries, help and support globally. Work closely with key stakeholders across the business such as IT, to develop, enhance and deploy new tools and technology that can support our Cloud Partnerships and simplify and streamline our operational processes. Establish defined success metrics that provide critical insights into the effectiveness of our Cloud partnerships, leveraging data visualization tools, including Tableau, to provide channel leadership with critical data-driven insights into partnership performance. Responsible for system hygiene and maintenance and transaction accuracy across all systems to ensure consistent tracking of performance against cloud partnership expectations. Ensure internal and external Cloud Program documentation, including ensuring that Rules of Engagement guidelines are continually updated and remain current against our Cloud program and operational processes. The skills you’ll bring include: You thrive in a dynamic environment, contribute innovative ideas, are a self-starter who can identify business issues and determine ways to directly tackle them, possess effective financial and project management skills, and assist in the evolution of our operational and financial models. 3-4 years experience working in or supporting business operations. Strategic understanding of software partner ecosystems, ideally with Cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure and Google Cloud. Highly proficient data analysis skills, ideally using Tableau; ability to analyze business information and draw accurate conclusions and create data stories. Experience in working cross-functionally, with multiple stakeholders, to achieve desired outcomes. Team-oriented mindset with proven ability to drive impact through influence and collaboration across multiple functions and levels of an organization. Self-starter without requiring prescribed direction or actions; You’re able to diagnose business and process challenges, and drive initiatives to address those challenges. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including establishing credibility and trust with internal customers and building influential relationships with partners in the business. Proven track record of being highly organized with an emphasis on attention to detail and capable of managing multiple work streams simultaneously Experience with Netsuite, SalesForce, Impartner or similar CRM or ERP systems. Team-oriented mindset with proven ability to drive impact through influence and collaboration across multiple functions and levels of an organization.
