Function/Duties:
Install, maintain and repair electrical control systems for the facilities organization. Interface with multiple disciplines to accomplish defined tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Repair and maintain existing control systems:
- Allen Bradley PLC systems
- Honeywell Building System, TEMA Servers
- GE PLC systems
- Square D plc systems
- Scada System Design and Development
- Interface and work with Engineering, Safety, and maintenance staff on controls problems
- Learn area critical control systems
- Assist requested maintenance and equipment maintenance as needed
Current Skills/Competencies:
- Knowledge of basic control diagrams
- Knowledge of control devices and instrumentation:
- Sensors
- Transducers
- Field Wiring
- Knowledge and experience on the design, programming and installation of PLCs
- Knowledge and experience on the design, programming and installation of VFDs
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Must be a proven team player and self-starter
- Good problem solving and decision making skills
Education/Skills Background: A.S. Degree in Electrical/Electronics Technology or Licensed Electrician with similar controls experience.
