X-ES is Hiring a Mechanical Assembler Near Verona, WI

Extreme Engineering Solutions (X-ES) is looking for a detail-oriented mechanical assembler who will be responsible for supporting assembly of X-ES rugged embedded hardware. Successful candidates will be able to use manufacturing machines and tools to perform product assembly in accordance to released specifications and drawings. This is a first-shift position with flexible scheduling, paid training, and good benefits.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assembling product by following drawing diagrams and applicable work procedures, instructions, and specifications.
  • Updating records accurately and timely for all completed work.
  • Identifying and accurately documenting product and process nonconformances.
  • Following quality requirements and quality assurance standards, processes, and controls.
  • Participating in process and quality improvement activities.

Required Qualifications

  • Graduation from an accredited high school (or valid General Educational Development certificate).
  • Computer proficiency and a high level of organization with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work efficiently and independently.
  • Good hand dexterity and coordination, as products and components are typically very small.
  • Ability to work onsite from our facility located at 9901 Silicon Prairie Parkway in Verona, WI 

Desired Qualifications

  • Comfortable using hand and power tools, manufacturing machines and test equipment to perform product assembly.
  • Ability to communicate effectively using written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail desired.
  • Experience in electronics manufacturing as well as familiarity with IPC-610 and thermal interface materials is a plus.
