X-Bow Systems is expanding and is looking to fill multiple new positions, Junior through Senior Mechanical Engineers.

This role is based in Luling, TX.

As a Mechanical Engineer, you will have a key role in supporting our propellant manufacturing system development and operation. You will join a multi-disciplinary team responsible for all aspects of requirement verifications, upgrade and anomaly resolution design, analysis, test, and deployment of hardware and control sub-systems. You'll know you're successful in this role when you've identified blockers, guided processes to address anomalies and performance shortfalls, verified requirements are satisfied and you've delivered on the agreed upon master schedule and/or increased energetic material production quantity while adhering to environmental and safety best practices. To thrive in this role, you must have demonstrated success in mechanical design, analysis, and test with an aptitude for hands-on assembly and integration.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Design/Analysis/Manufacture and Test of energetic materials or chemical processing facilities
• Experience scoping pumps, mixers, heat exchangers, ovens, precision flow meters
• 3 years experience with Solidworks CAD and PDM or equivalent
• Experience working in multidisciplinary teams of ~5 engineers
• Analysis skills from notebook level to advanced simulation capturing stress, fluid flow, thermal and/or electrical power
• Demonstrated electro/mechanical hands-on assembly and trouble-shooting aptitude
• Bachelors degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
• Must be a US Persons as defined by § 120.62 of the ITAR
