Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Food Runner to join our team. As a Food Runner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient food delivery and exceptional guest service. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver food orders from the kitchen to the appropriate tables in a timely manner. Duties:
- Retrieve food orders from the kitchen and deliver them to the correct tables
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of each order before delivering
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and servers to ensure smooth food delivery process
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the food running area
- Communicate any customer requests or concerns to the appropriate staff members
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines
Skills:
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems, specifically Aloha POS, is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to provide friendly and efficient service
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members
- Basic knowledge of culinary techniques and food preparation methods
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
