RELATIONSHIPS: Reports to the Director of Social Enterprise

SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:
The Operations Manager provides oversight of maintenance staff and hands on maintenance as necessary. Routinely inspects and maintains all 10 WRM facilities as well as the recovery ranch. Works with contractors for pre-approved maintenance. Works closely with Shelter Manager to ensure quality accomplishment of guest chores. This position is full-time, Exempt.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Spiritual:
A. Maintain a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and confess Him as their personal Lord and Savior. (John 3:16, Acts 4:12)
B. Endeavor to live a Godly life in public and private, thereby providing a Christian role model for those we seek to reach. (1 Peter 1:13-16)
C. Agree with the WRM Statement of Faith.
D. Abide by the Ministry Principles and Employee Handbook

Vocational:
A. High school diploma or GED required, bachelor’s degree in related field strongly preferred.
B. Proven ability to maintain composure during stressful situations.
C. Well-developed interpersonal and relationship building skills.
D. Clear communication skills - both verbal and written.
E. Prefer a minimum of five years of facility maintenance.
F. Discerning eye for detail related to buildings and grounds with ability to accomplish and oversee high quality remediation and renewal of related needs.
G. Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.
H. Ability to prioritize maintenance request and scheduled maintenance.
I. Must be able to work flexible hours.
J. Good verbal and written communication skills.
K. Proficient in Microsoft office products.
L. Experience as a successful hotel operations manager is a plus.
