Our auctions are focused mainly on firearms, but also ammunition, gun parts, reloading supplies, military memorabilia, and more! We are hiring writers and logistics associates. GUN WRITER

SUMMARY: Gun writers create write-ups for the firearm inventory and sales for auctions under the supervision of the Operations Manager. The successful individual will demonstrate strong writing, organizational, computer and interpersonal skills, an ability to work independently in a fast paced environment, and meet deadlines in a timely manner.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

● Coordinates items that will be coming up for auction with the Operations Manager.

● Researches items and collects data pertinent to the items.

● Writes up descriptions of auction items and provides them to the manager for review.

● Responds to questions regarding items and communicates with consignors as needed.

● Performs other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

● A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university and 1 – 2 years of related work experience preferred. A High School Diploma and/or an Associates Degree and 3 to 5 years of related work experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties preferred, not required.

● Firearms knowledge and auction experience preferred, not required.

● Demonstrated ability to write clearly and with proper grammar.

● Ability to work effectively with conflicting priorities and tight deadlines.

● Ability to work independently, organize, handle detail, follow-through on tasks and problem solve with minimal supervision and successfully complete tasks in a timely manner.

● Excellent problem solving skills.

● Able to work in a busy environment.

● Must have respect for confidentiality and an ability to work with discretion and integrity.

● Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Google WorkStation.

● Ability to get along well with others and be a positive member of WYOA.

● Must have valid WY drivers’ license, clean DMV, and the ability to obtain and maintain a Certificate of Eligibility (COE) from the Department of Justice.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to:

● Stand, walk; sit; reach with hands and arms; balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.

● Drive from one location to another

● Lift and /or move up to 25 lbs.

HOURS of EMPLOYMENT:

This is a full time position. A 40 hour per week schedule will be established in consultation with the supervisor, evening and weekend hours may apply. The normal work week is Monday – Friday. Hours of work will be established between the hours of 6:00am and 6:00pm.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

Salary depends on experience. Compensation will be calculated on a 40 hour per week schedule. Hours may vary due to the needs of WYOA. This position includes two weeks of vacation per year, sick time accrued, and paid holidays as established by WYOA.

EBAY WRITER

SUMMARY: The eBay Writer performs write ups for non-firearm inventory and sales for eBay auctions under the supervision of the Operations Manager. The successful individual will demonstrate strong writing, organizational, computer and interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently and the ability to work in a fast paced environment and meet deadlines in a timely manner.

SHIPPING/LOGISTICS

SUMMARY: The Logistics Associate is responsible for preparing outgoing shipments and receiving incoming shipments. The successful candidate will oversee daily inventory management and logistics functions under the direction of the Operations Manager. The position works to fulfill customer orders and work closely with other logistics associates to review invoices, retrieve products, package products and place labels on outgoing packages. The position requires the individual to be detail oriented, organized, reliable, willing to work in a fast paced environment, and possess excellent organizational and administrative skills.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

● Schedules shipments to ensure delivery by promised deadlines.

● Ensures that merchandise is sent by the appropriate vendor and sent to the correct firearms dealer.

● Receives orders and assigns shipments to appropriate carriers.

● Assists customer service representatives with order status inquiries and special customer needs.

● Resolves delivery problems.

● Assures no damaged items are sent or received.

● Compares packing lists to company purchase orders and ensures that the product in each delivery matches the packing list.

● Updates the product inventory as products are received and added to inventory.

● Perform other duties that pertain to the position.

● A high school diploma or GED and a minimum of two years of related work experience preferred.

●Firearms knowledge and auction experience desired but not required.

● Ability to work effectively with conflicting priorities and tight deadlines.

This is a full time position. A 40 hour work week schedule will be established in consultation with the supervisor, evening and weekend hours may apply. The normal work week is Monday – Friday. The work schedule will be established between the hours of 6:00am and 6:00pm. Overtime may be required on occasion.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

Salary depends on experience. The benefits include accrued vacation of two weeks per year, accrued sick time and paid holidays as established by WYOA, health insurance is not included.
