Job Summary:

Responsible for ensuring that all preparation of all required baked goods is conducted and prepared in accordance with specifications and standards.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Responsible for preparing all baked goods for venue operations, according to department quality specs and recipes.
• Ensures final baked goods? preparation is in compliance with Paragon Casino Resort standards.
• Assists in maintaining standards of health, safety, and sanitation.
• Participates as a team member with Cooks and Supervisor employees in producing a smoothly and efficiently run operation that meets the high standards.
• Responsible for creating new recipes.
• Maintains quality, cost, waste, and distribution of all foods produced.
• Maintains cleanliness and ensures ServSafe guidelines are being followed by all employees.
• Responsible for ensuring that all bakery products are supplied to all venues.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• High volume scratch baking preferred.
• Detailed oriented, punctual, and reliable.
• Ability to work independently.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED
• Two (2) years of baking experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Employee is regularly required to stand, walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
• Employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and taste or smell.
• Employees must be able to lift, push or pull up to 50 pounds.
