Position Summary
Labels and puts away materials received from other departments. Works with other departments to ensure delivery of materials safely and on time.
- Prepares accurate orders for outbound shipments.
- Consolidate inventory.
- Conducts weekly inventory - down stocking, refreshing labels as needed.
- Uses a scanner to verify and track orders.
- May be required to use material handling equipment, following all safety rules.
- Employees are responsible to comply with all requirements of Daifuku's QMS policies and procedures.
- Employees are to ensure sustainable process outputs that drive continuous improvement to provide leading industry performance and exceptional customer satisfaction.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience operating forklift equipment a plus
- Experience with inventory/shipping a plus
- Good computer skills
- Good verbal communication skills
- Ability to read and write English and use basic math
- Good organization skills
- Good time management skills
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented
