Position Summary
Assists with scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and repair of all Automated Material Handling systems
- Repairs minor mechanical problems
- Follows all Preventive Maintenance programs
- Completes all assigned training plans
- Complies with all safety programs, policies and procedures
- Travels up to 75% for up to two weeks at a time
- Ability to assist in the installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of all material handling equipment and components
- Basic knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers
- Ability to execute assigned tasks
- Ability to interpret both mechanical and electrical drawings
- Ability to interpret and understand policies and procedures and relate them to others
- Intermediate computer skills including MS Office
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Customer service orientation
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated, organized and detail-oriented
- Team orientation
- Knowledge of safe industrial work practices
