Housekeeping Supervisor-

Candidates must be able to stand and work for 8 hours a day. They must be able to move swiftly around guest rooms and the entire hotel. Candidates must be able to push a housekeeping cart, vacuum large spaces, bend and kneel to clean floors, reach above shoulders, make beds, and fold laundry.

Candidates must have reliable transportation and be able to work well independently or as a team. You may be required to perform other tasks through out the hotel as needed, such as cleaning public space and helping with laundry

Responsibilities

• Train housekeepers on cleaning and maintenance tasks
• Oversee staff on a daily basis
• Check rooms and common areas, including stairways and lounge areas, for cleanliness
• Schedule shifts and arrange for replacements in cases of absence
• Establish and educate staff on cleanliness, tidiness and hygiene standards
• Motivate team members and resolve any issues that occur on the job
• Monitor and replenish cleaning products stock

• Participate in large cleaning projects as required
• Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation policies in all areas

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
