Wycoff Family Care Home is Hiring a Caregiver Near Modesto, CA

Job Title: Part-Time Caregiver for Developmentally Disabled Individual

Location: Modesto, CA

Job Type: Part-Time

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join our team as a part-time caregiver for individuals with developmental disabilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting residents with activities of daily living, administering prescribed medications, maintaining documentation, ensuring sanitation of our care facility, and aiding in meeting state requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist individuals with developmental disabilities in their daily activities as per their personalized care plans.
  • Administer prescribed medications accurately and maintain detailed documentation.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of the care facility according to state regulations.
  • Aid in the maintenance of the facility to meet state requirements and standards.
  • Assist with transportation needs and accompany consumers for community activities.
  • Conduct background checks as required and hold a valid driver's license.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is essential.
  • Proficient in activities of daily living (ADL) assistance.
  • Ability to accurately administer medications and maintain detailed records.
  • Knowledge of sanitation standards and state requirements for care facilities.
  • Clear background check is mandatory.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification or training in caregiving or related fields.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
