Wyandotte Services is Hiring a Web Designer Near Lakewood, CO
Wyandotte Services, Wyandotte Services is seeking an experience Web Designer for its contract in support of the Department of Energy’s Western Area Power Administration Headquarters in Lakewood, Colorado. This position assists the enterprise content manager in responding to web-related Help Tickets for website support. In addition, this position also uploads and post content to WAPA’s internal and external websites, as well as its social media platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a technical resource for appropriate web display and illustrative elements
- Ensure that wapa.gov and my WAPA are functioning correctly
- Regularly update website content
- Troubleshoot technical glitches
- Review content frequently for age, usability, formatting, branding and compliance
- Responds appropriately to user complaints
- Proficient in web-based skills including layout and content development
- Tracks and evaluates analytics and makes or supports changes to web content or design
- Trains others on how to update web content
- Coordinates with others in IT to support website upgrades
Qualifications:
- Must have verifiable web design experience
- Must be proficient in web-based skills including layout and content development
- Must be proficient in WordPress and SharePoint
- Must be familiar with laws and regulations affecting Federal websites including Section 508
- Must be able to work well with others in a team environment
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, or 5 years equivalent experience in Web Content/Design Preferred
- Must be a US Citizen
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $110,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
