Wyandotte Nation Government is currently accepting applications for the Crime Victim Advocate position. Reporting directly to the Crime Victim Advocate Supervisor, this role involves identifying and supporting victims of various crimes, such as domestic violence, sexual violence, dating violence, human trafficking, elder abuse, child abuse, and stalking. Collaboration with law enforcement, courts, and community resources is key. The Advocate will be available for emergencies and will also contribute to outreach and program awareness efforts, which may include weekend and/or evening events. Candidates should have at least a High School diploma or GED, with a minimum of two years of work experience. A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or a related field is preferred, along with relevant work experience. The position may involve sitting, standing, walking, grasping, and lifting up to 24 pounds frequently. Successful applicants must undergo background checks, physical exams, drug testing, and maintain a valid driver’s license. This position is grant-funded.
