Responsibilities

• Local Downriver Manufacturer is looking for a full time Mazak/VMC Operator for our afternoon shift (4:00 p.m. – 2:00 a.m.)
• Starting pay (for training on day shift) is $18.50 per hour. Shift Premium of $2.00 extra will kick in once working on afternoon shift, with full benefits after 30 days.
• Must have work experience on the Mazak and VMC machines
• The ability to lift 50 lbs vertically
• Be able to advise of machine problems / breakdowns, need of general maintenance.
• Complete paperwork (Set-up in Progress, charting, etc.)
• Follow safety procedures, maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Follow Work Instructions; including CP/T, Quality Alerts, forms, etc
• Maintain a good attendance record. Maintain a good work attitude.
• Maintain lot traceability with proper sign-off (i.e. Control Plan/Travelers, etc.)
• Maintain production expectations.
• Responsible for the overall quality of the product they produce.
• Responsible to stop production; notify; tag; when material is suspect.
• Review NCP -Responsible to stop production; notify; tag; when material is suspect.
• Suggest Improvements
• To know and understand WII's Quality Policy, to be involved in the Quality Management System.
• Objective is to produce quality products, while meeting/exceeding customer satisfaction and requirements.
• Helping to continually improve our company for our everyone's benefit, while following any rules and regulations.
• To maintain any certifications/licenses as necessary. (ie - Hi-Lo, MPI, etc)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
