Wyandot Snacks is Hiring a Food Regulatory Affairs Specialist Near Marion, OH
The Food Regulatory Affairs Specialist will be responsible for ensuring all claims made on packaging are met within regulatory requirements, as well as maintaining good standing with our regulatory bodies.
Duties:
Duties:
- Maintain certification status of both the facility and individual products with various certifying bodies
- Generate Nutrition Facts Panels and Ingredient Statements for new products
- Review packaging to ensure claims are justified
- Ensure documentation stays up-to-date for both finished products and ingredients
- Participate in facility audits
- Stay informed of current FDA guidance and advise as necessary
- BS in Food Science, Nutrition Science, Engineering or equivalent as minimum
- 1-2 years regulatory affairs experience
- Knowledge of FDA food regulations
- Familiarity with Genesis Nutritional Labeling software
- Familiarity with certifying products for claims such as:
- Organic
- Kosher
- Gluten Free
- Ability to prioritize workload and shift priorities as needed
- Must be on-site in Marion, OH
