Busy Psychotherapy /Psychiatry Practice on Staten Island is looking for a full time front desk receptionist . Salary is depends on experience , bonus available based on performance. This job is ideal for someone who would like to become psychotherapist or nurse in the future career.
Position Summary :
As a Receptionist you would be the ambassador of our practice’s first impression on our patients and visitors. It is your foremost responsibility to compassionately greet all incoming patients, help them with directions or any appropriate information that they need while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
You must possess superb people skills while comforting patient’s anxieties, helping patients in distress, take and receive complaints from patients and being positive to personal criticism. Please, note that this position does NOT require any medical or dental assistant skills, knowledge of coding, billing, accounting or supervising other staff. Our ideal candidate is an upbeat individual with positive outlook and genuine desire to help people in emotional distress.
