As the Sales Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading the non-quota-bearing segment of our sales team, overseeing Customer Success, Contract Management, and Sales Support functions. Reporting directly to the Sales Director, you will be responsible for orchestrating seamless collaboration among these teams, while optimizing processes, improving alignment, and ensuring exceptional customer experiences. The ideal candidate will possess a strategic mindset, operational prowess, and the ability to inspire and lead diverse teams.Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the Customer Success, Contract Management, and Sales Support Teams performance.
- Analyze sales performance data and metrics to identify trends and insights. Streamline and optimize sales processes to enhance overall productivity.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop procedural and training improvements to achieve higher levels of accuracy and "first time right" creation of quotes and contracts.
- Oversee the implementation and management of the non-technical portions of the sales wiki -- particularly as it concerns Customer Success, Contract Management, and Sales Support documentation, as well as the Sales procedural and canned text portions of the wiki.
- Develop and deliver sales training programs for new and existing team members.
- Foster collaboration between sales and other departments, such as marketing, HR, and finance.
- Assist in the development and management of sales budgets.
- Generate regular sales reports and dashboards for leadership review.
- Act as a liaison between the sales team and other (local/global) departments.
- Assist in the development and execution of sales strategies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience in sales operations, customer success, and contract management roles.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to align sales operations initiatives with overall business goals.
- Previous experience in a managerial or leadership role is preferred.
- Strong understanding of service level management, contract negotiation, and sales support functions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Driven self-starter with a penchant for timeliness and accuracy.
- Ability to identify challenges and propose effective solutions.
- Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and drive process improvements.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively with sales teams and other departments.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
