Responsibilities
Research Scientist – Medicinal (Hayward CA) – Perform medicinal research for discovery of drugs to treat life-threatening diseases; Design and synthesize molecular targets for evaluation as potential drug candidates to discover medicines using Pharmacokinetics study, NMR/IR, LC-MS, HPLC, SPPS, Chem-draw; Study and generate novel chemical entities for drug discovery; Plan, execute and propose experiments that support non-routine research activities and project goals using Avogadro, BioRender, PyMOL, Reaxys/Sci-finder; Design new experiments to advance scientific knowledge of drug substances or techniques to identify such substances.
Must have a Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Medicinal Chemistry, or Chemistry plus skills and knowledge in Pharmacokinetics study, NMR/IR, LC-MS, HPLC, SPPS, Chem-draw, Avogadro, BioRender, PyMOL, Reaxys/Sci-finder.
