Build a strategic customer email program with a highly motivated and creative marketing team! This person will work closely with our sales team to develop regional marketing strategies in the Americas which target customer engagement and brand experience. Strong writing skills are a must, as this position will also plan and write with an international team to manage our company’s blog. Technical knowledge of the product isn’t required, but good research, interviewing and composition skills are!

Marketing degree preferred, but open to relevant experience, including newsletter editors, event planners or website managers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Aid in operational strategy for marketing content and compile data to determine success and implement corrective actions.
2. Recommend strategies to ensure a positive and consistent user experiences for customers.
3. Attract customers and increase brand awareness by collaborating on inbound marketing initiatives such as email or social media campaigns.
4. Maintain positive impression of company brand by consulting with colleagues and appropriately responding to customer feedback via all contact points of the marketing department.
5. Collaborate with other marketing staff to integrate and complement marketing strategies across all product groups.
6. Solidify brand awareness at customer events and/or exhibitions by: assisting with product display and appropriate demonstration methodologies, suggesting various promotion techniques to inform and attract customers, and aid in coordinating logistics.
7. Draft and recommend layout and production of company literature such as print, digital presentations and video.
8. Understand and implement corporate design standards into all materials generated by the department.
9. Consult with internal departments to determine the types of products and services to promote to the public.
10. Research emerging technology to be used to improve customer interaction and marketing strategies and report recommendations to manager.
11. Assist with technical webinars by recommending topics, scheduling speakers, promoting to customers through marketing media, and evaluating success with colleagues. Implement modifications for improvement as needed.
12. Research and recommend customer giveaways.
13. Aid in composition and distribution of press releases across all product groups.
14. Support Human Resources with recruitment event organization.
