It would be preferred that this person be located in Kennesaw, GA, Charlotte, NC, Chantilly, VA, or Cincinnati, OH but this individual could be located anywhere n the US. Your Impact

  • Manage the negotiation, award, and administration large-value subcontracts with various commercial models comprising fixed price, cost-reimbursable, and other contract mechanisms to satisfy company needs and client requirements while providing best value and cost effectiveness.
  • Drafting and issuance of various agreement types, including master agreements, subcontracts, purchase orders, and notices to proceed.
  • Lead the supply chain process for goods and services, including supplier identification vetting/onboarding, solicitation, evaluation, and award, post-award administration, and closeout.
  • Ensure compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and other Federal, State, and local laws and regulations and company policy through directing the procurement process as well as by guiding/counseling project teams.
  • Represent the procurement organization while interfacing within the broader framework of a large-scale project, interacting with the integrated team members including Estimating, Project Delivery, Commercial, Legal, and Project Controls and external suppliers and vendors groups to support seamless and effective execution and resolve contractual issues.
  • Support client proposal efforts by executing tasks associated with acquiring team and non-team subcontractors proposals and documentation and ensuring offers are capable of acceptance and award to if company is selected by client.
  • Review and provide recommendations so that the organization mitigates risk and performs to meet its contractual obligations and reduces financial impacts.
  • Maintain WSP USA procurement and subcontracting policies, procedures, and guidelines with special emphasis on maintaining the highest ethical and professional standards.
  • Participate with responsible parties to ensure that all claims and disputes with suppliers or subcontractors are settled amicably and without delay.

Who You Are

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Construction Management, Economics, or Engineering preferred.
  • 3-5 years Supply Chain management experience in the Engineering, Procurement and Construction Industry.
  • Proven experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and other Federal, State, and local laws and regulations.
  • Experience with Federal and non-Federal procurements/sub-contracts.
  • Solid understanding of domestic and international purchasing and subcontracting in remediation/construction industry.
  • Basic knowledge and experience in the means, processes and methods needed to successfully implement a supply chain plan on large-scale projects.
  • Helpful demeanor and friendly customer service skills
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to prepare and make presentations to project and external groups and stakeholders.
  • Excellent computer literacy skills and skills in MS Office 365, and Adobe Acrobat Pro DC.
  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a diverse team environment, juggle multiple assignments and deliver in a targeted timeframe and budget.
  • Must pass background check.
