WSP is growing and we have an exciting career opportunity for a Mid Level Water Resources Engineer to join our team in Denver, CO. The Denver Water Service Line has an excellent reputation and supports a broad variety of project work across the U.S. and internationally. These projects include FEMA Risk MAP (Risk Mapping, Assessment and Planning) activities, transportation drainage (bridge hydraulics, culverts, storm sewer, etc.), environmental engineering, dam breach hazard analyses, and other specialized water resources projects. Our professionals are networked across the WSP organization and are active in technical organizations advancing our practice.

Required Qualifications
• BS in Civil Engineering or related engineering degree required, MS preferred
• Engineer in Training accreditation preferred with goal to work towards obtain a PE license
• 3 – 5 years of hydrology / hydraulics and water resources/civil experience
• Experience using HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, EPASWMM/PCSWMM, HY-8
• Proficiency in ArcGIS a plus
• Experience with Microstation/Geopak and/or AutoCAD a plus.
• Familiarity with the National Flood Insurance Program and FEMA flood insurance study regulations is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
• Must pass background check

Compensation: Expected Salary (Colorado only): $75,000 - $90,000
WSP USA is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position within the state of Colorado, based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location. WSP USA reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant’s sex or other status protected by local, state, and/or federal law.
