This position is located in the Humble, Atascocita Area

What You Will Do: The person will be tasked with conducting forensics and gathering data to establish the factual details regarding client infrastructure damages or incidents.

Responsibilities and expectations will include:

• Evaluate the details of a claim to ascertain its validity.
• Authenticate the extent and validity of submitted claims.
• Acquire proficiency in using the company's Claims Database Tool.
• Understand and assess findings reported from field investigations.
• Possess knowledge of 811 laws governing utility damages.
• Demonstrate familiarity with Utility Infrastructure.
• Conclude field damage investigations and prepare final report submissions.
• Exhibit expertise in excavation-related construction, utility installation, damage prevention, and excavation theory.

What You Will Bring:

Required:

• A minimum of three years of experience in claims research or a related investigatory background.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Highly organized and self-driven individual.
• At least three years of experience in damage prevention.
• Strong communication skills.
• Familiarity with natural gas distribution systems.
• Knowledge of utility locating procedures in accordance with 811 laws.

You must be comfortable working in all weather conditions. Due to the physical nature of the work, you must be able to lift 50 lbs. – 75 lbs. periodically. You’re required to work with your hands, and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. At times you may be working at or on uneven terrain, slopes, in confined spaces, or reinforced trenches.
