We are currently hiring for a dual position of Night Audit and Overnight Security.

Positon Summary:

*Must be Flexible as hours vary 6pm-2.30am(Security) and 10pm-6am(Night Audit) - includes Weekends.

We're looking for a full-time employee to work Dual positions. On nights your are assigned as a Night Auditor you will assist guests with their overnight requests and balance accounts from the day shift. Night Auditor Responsibilities include checking in guests, handling their requests and taking reservations. The Night Auditor also reconciles all accounts, processes invoices, and prepares paychecks. Ultimately, you will provide excellent customer service to guests and keep the front desk and accounting operations running smoothly.

Job Duties:

• Front Desk:

  Understands and promotes the company's 100% Satisfaction Guarantee.

  Provides information to guests about hotel policies, services, amenities and information about the local area.

  Handles guest check-in and check-out in an accurate and efficient manner.

  Enters/changes reservation information on the hotel computer systems.

  Processes payment from guest and posts charges to guest accounts.

  Balances shift work and cash drawers.

  Operates hotel telephone console and uses good telephone etiquette.

  Sells rooms to guests on the telephone and in person.

  Promotes hotel sales and revenue programs.

  May perform periodic or scheduled cleaning projects.

  Understands and performs basic safety, security and emergency procedures of the hotel.

  Front Desk Night Audit:

  Closes and balances all hotel accounts.

  Counts and balances cash and credit card receipts.

  Balances direct bill accounts.

  Verifies and balances vouchers.

  Adjusts or corrects accounts as needed.

  Completes and distributes required audit processes and reports.

  Prepares guest folios for Express Check-out.

  Serves as Manager on duty for overnight shift. Contacts hotel leadership when operational matters require additional insight and authority.

On nightsassigned as a Security Guard you will be responsible for providing an atmosphere of confidence and trust. The Security Guard maintains the safety and security of the hotel and its property while ensuring the care of the Guests and their personal possessions.The following reflects the essential duties for this job but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned:

Spend the majority of shift on foot patrol, walking, climbing stairs of the interior and perimeter of the hotel to observe and identify potential security and safety risks or undesirable conditions.

Requires verbal communication skills using a two-way radio

Physical activity including, but not limited to bending, stooping, excessive walking, kneeling, etc..

Maintain order in the hotel, dealing with the welfare of guests and assisting with potential issues that may arise.

Coordinate expedient response to emergency conditions such as fires or other safety hazards/threats to life and/or property in a calm, rational and persuasive manner.

Handle undesired conduct, violations of hotel policy and civil laws as warranted for the security and safety of hotel guests, employees, patrons, and property.

Answer security calls and respond in a timely manner based on priority.

Be knowledgeable about hotel and guestroom locking systems.

Receive deliveries; deliver requested items to guest rooms as needed.

Comply at all times with hotel standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations.

Be aware of all visitors entering/exiting the property and notify MOD/Management of any suspicious activity.

Conduct exterior and interior patrols of the hotel premises on a regular basis each evening, as defined by management.

Inspect each entrance/exit to ensure proper closure and report any malfunction to management.

Assist Guests with room location and access as needed.

Respond to accidents, contact authorities and EMS as necessary. Report to management as required.

Respond to guest requests, and re-direct to appropriate department as needed.

Complete documentation and reporting of all security/loss prevention-related incidents. Conduct investigations and gathering of evidence as required.

Manage difficult/noisy Guests following company procedures.

Remain aware of all potential security problems/unusual or suspicious situations and report them to your MOD.

Escort all unwelcome persons from the property in a safe manner, avoiding interruption of property operations.

Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures.

Report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries.

Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.

Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards.
