Wrightington Rheumatology is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to provide clinical expertise to ensure our patients receive high quality care.

Qualifications:

Valid state MA License

Maintains Continuing Education credits

Experience: Rheumatology experience preferred. EclinicalWorks proficiency preferred.

Education: Graduate of accredited MA training program

Role Description:

• Manage efficient flow of patients including screening, preparation for exam, medication reconciliation, and obtaining vitals.
• Notify patients of test results and instruct patients regarding treatment and medications.
• Schedule additional tests or treatments as well as arrange referrals to other specialists.
• Obtain and track prior authorizations from insurance companies for prescribed specialty drugs
