Wright State Physicians, Inc - Staff Careers is Hiring a Site Manager - Surgery Near Fairborn, OH

General Summary: An exempt position under the supervision of the Director of Operations and in collaboration with the Compliance and Health Information Managers, will ensure the effective and efficient operation of all aspects of clinical support and non-clinical practices at the site. The Practice Site Manager will ensure that the Practice is in compliance with internal policies and procedures and with external regulatory guidelines required for the delivery of high-quality ambulatory care. The Practice Site Manager coordinates daily activities for the Site in support of policies, goals, and objectives consistent with the organization's mission.

Essential Job Responsibilities:
1. Coordinates optimal scheduling, patient flow, client/patient service, and execution of operational and administrative concerns and corrects operational deficiencies identified in a timely manner.
2. In collaboration with compliance and health information managers, focuses on improving the business aspects of health care operations and the quality of the health care provided.
3. Collaborates with administrative staff and physicians to optimize efficiency in a variety of related services ranging from inpatient care to outpatient follow-up care.
4. Supports and upholds policies, objectives, and procedures for the organization. Reports on department results and outcomes. Responsible for pro-actively facilitating excellence and satisfaction in all patient encounters; analyzes unsatisfactory encounters to identify trends, determine causes, and develop solutions.
5. Responsible for reviewing monthly reports including the following data: clinician productivity, attendance reports; scheduling and overtime; patient waiting time; data related to other initiatives as indicated, for review and discussion with Director of Operation and other members of the management staff as needed.
6. Maintains regular visibility at all sites as well as strong working relationships with all key administrative staff and providers. Attention is to be given to outreach strategies, work culture enhancement and internal communication and consensus-building.
7. Participates in staff human resource planning and decisions, including hiring, training, supervision, and evaluating personnel and their work.
8. Assists in budget preparation including recommendations for equipment outlays. Coordinates activities with other clinical managers, administrative staff, and physicians.
9. Coordinates marketing activities which may include collaboration with other clinical managers, administrative staff and physicians.
10. Must be prepared to deal with evolving, integrated health care delivery systems, technological innovations which may include telehealth advancements, an increasingly complex, regulatory environment and restructuring of work. Frequent contact with patients, physicians, residents, medical students and community and corporate representatives.
11. Management for all direct operational activity occurring within the medical office setting including quality patient care, compliance, management of non-clinical staff, internal and external customer service, equipment and environment of care safety, human resource issues, payroll and finances such as accounts payable, annual budget and expense management; directly manages all staff activity under Wright State Physicians policies and guidelines.
12. Ensures clinic compliance of OSHA, medical records, HIPPA, patient confidentiality and other areas as defined by Wright State Physicians.
13. Other duties as assigned.

Education/Certifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required; preferably in health administration or business administration.

Experience: 3 years experience with business/management responsibilities; including 1 years supervisory experience.
