Job Title: Armed and Unarmed Security Guards (mobile and standing)

Salary: $16.50-$25.00 per hour

Your Role

We’re on the lookout for dedicated and reliable people to join our team as Armed and Unarmed Security Guards. Beyond ensuring the safety and security of assigned premises, personnel, and assets, we’re looking for someone who can provide exceptional customer service and lend a hand to those in need of information or guidance. In addition, your day-to-day will include the following:

Responsibilities

● Monitor and control access to designated areas, on occasion, checking identification of individuals and ensuring compliance with relevant protocols.

● Conduct regular patrols to detect and deter potential security threats.

● Respond to alarms or emergencies appropriately and promptly, following established procedures.

● Report any incidents, accidents, or security breaches by company policies and procedures, including incident reports, daily activity logs, and shift reports.

● Perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor to support the overall security operations.

Requirements

● High school diploma or equivalent

● A driver’s license.

● DPSST certification is preferred, but if you're a suitable candidate, we'll teach you.

● This role requires standing for prolonged periods (potentially 12hr shifts), climbing stairs, and occasionally lifting heavy objects.

● Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

● Demonstrated ability to work effectively with all sorts of people, including adults and children.
