Responsible to assure effective day to day technical operations of the shift. Direct and assist with mold changes and set up. Elimination of scrap and downtime. Training of technical staff. Coordinates Equipment / Tooling damage and improvement plans to Maintenance and Tool Room Coordinators. Initiate work orders through the COGS System. Drives continuous improvement activities on shift and throughout the organization. Assists in ensuring adherence to company policy and procedures.

2-4 years plastic process technical experience

High School diploma or equivalent

Completed training in material handling and operator functions

Good working knowledge of automated equipment

Good working knowledge of material handling responsibilities

1-2 years of quality control experience or completed quality leader training

Proven leadership ability – flexible/lead/do/motivate/own

Ability to problem solve – get to the root cause

High level of interpersonal skills with strong emphasis on communication across all levels
