**Overview:**

**THIS POSITION IS ELIGIBLE FOR A $2500 HIRING BONUS. TN TEACHING LICENSE IS REQUIRED.**

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Social Studies Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in social studies education and a commitment to fostering a dynamic learning environment.

**Duties:**

- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the curriculum

- Utilize a variety of teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles

- Foster critical thinking and analytical skills in students through interactive classroom activities

- Provide academic advising and support to students as needed

- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student participation and engagement

- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience

**Experience:**

- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

- Previous experience working with students in an educational setting

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Knowledge of proofreading and copy editing techniques

- Experience teaching social studies, journalism, or related subjects

- Familiarity with Montessori or other alternative teaching methods is a plus

- Ability to educate students on a wide range of social studies topics

- Proficiency in academic advising and guiding students towards success

- Knowledge of math concepts related to social studies is beneficial

Pay: $51,376.00 - $64,359.00 per year
