Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Environmental Specialist to join our team. As an Environmental Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring a clean and safe environment in various settings, including commercial buildings, hospitals, and other facilities. This is a full-time position with competitive pay.
Duties:
- Perform a variety of cleaning tasks, including dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces
- Use appropriate cleaning agents and equipment to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Follow established protocols and procedures for handling hazardous materials and waste
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential environmental hazards or safety concerns
- Assist with the implementation of environmental programs and initiatives
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and effective cleaning operations
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients and respond promptly to their requests or concerns
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or environmental services preferred
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to cleaning and sanitation
- Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends if required
- Experience in custodial or hospital settings is a plus
