• Effective communication between Executive Management teams, Field Managers (FM), Store Managers and your team of Associates.
• Leadership of your department to achieve productivity goals and maintain packing and shipping standards.
• Flexibility and ability to adapt to retail volume which impacts scheduling and productivity
• Ability to order, organize, and stock supplies to optimal levels.
• Attention to detail to properly inspect, fold, wrap and pack items to be shipped, as well as conduct periodic audit checks on packaged items.
• Ability to run and email reports nightly to the corporate office as well as the Field Manager.
• Gift Wrap experience when requested.
• Ability to hire and train new associates as well as schedule and verify payroll hours.
• Able to troubleshoot minor PC and printer issues and communicate any major issues to the FM.
• Ensure the department is maintained and clean.

Qualifications:

• 3 years managerial or leadership skills of a group of 3 or more.
• 3 years of packing and or shipping experience.
• Experience shipping through FedEx, UPS or DHL
• Typed, written, and verbal communication skills
• Ability to perform all physical aspects of the job to include, but not limited to, bending, stooping, reaching overhead and standing an entire shift.
• Ability to lift up to 40lbs
