Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Estimating Manager to join our team. The Estimating Manager will be responsible for overseeing the estimation process, managing a team of estimators, and ensuring accurate and competitive bid for construction projects.

Responsibilities:

• Review project plans, specifications, and requirements to determine the overall scope of work
• Utilize software and other construction estimating tools to prepare detailed cost estimates
• Collaboration with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for bids
• Analyze project costs, negotiate prices with vendors and subcontractors, and ensure cost control measures are in place
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors to support the bidding process
• Monitor industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to ensure competitive pricing strategies

Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field preferred
• Proven experience in construction estimating and project management
• Proficiency in using estimating software such as HeavyBid and Bluebeam
• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to analyze contracts and pricing structures
• Excellent communication skills to interact efficiently with internal teams and external stakeholders
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $56,223.61 - $67,710.15 per year
