Job Description:
This position is responsible for operating the bagger lines according to product and customer specification. Pay is $15.58 an hour.
Requirements:
- Operate the machine to help eliminate down time and boosts efficiency.
- Monitor how the machine is running and fix any minor problems.
- Alert the shift supervisor any issues on their machine, product or department.
- Achieve daily production goals set by supervisor.
- Understand and follow all safety precautions, startup/shutdown procedures on a daily basis.
- Track all pertinent information: initial scrap, product quality, cases produced.
- Understanding and following pertinent SQF regulations and the ability to run the machine in accordance to customer specifications.
- Maintaining a clean workspace.
- Other Duties as assigned.
- 3 -6 months Machine Operator experience.
- Good Attendance, Good Communication, Strong Organizational Skills.
- Positive Attitude, Self-Motivated
- Able to work with a diverse group of people.
- Team Player
- Exposure to loud noise
- Must be capable of lifting 50 lbs. or more.
- Heavy Forklift Traffic
- Position requires standing, walking and bending on a regular basis on concrete flooring
- Must have manual dexterity to perform computer skills
