Overview:

WWT is a non-profit, community-based ministry that houses former female offenders of diverse and trauma-related backgrounds, who desire freedom from drug addiction through biblical discipleship. WWT provides Biblical Addiction Rehabilitation Programs that offer freedom from addiction, Relapse Prevention, HOPE, Transformation, Financial Responsibility, Job Skills Training, Family Reconciliation, for life-long success.

We are seeking emotionally mature, compassionate individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professionals in a Women's Residential Biblical Discipleship Environment. As a Direct Support Professional, you will provide essential care and support to women transforming into a newness of mind, from incarceration and substance addiction. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact in a woman's life who wants to succeed.

Responsibilities:
- Assist individuals with daily activities, including tutoring, meal preparation, cleaning, and medication administration
- Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive behaviors and ensure the safety of individuals
- Provide companionship and emotional support to individuals
- Support individuals in participating in recreational activities and community outings
- Document and maintain accurate records of daily incidents that occur
- Advocate for the rights and well-being of individuals, ensuring their dignity and respect
- Assist in development and implement of individualized treatment plans

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in biblical addiction rehabilitation working with former female offenders is preferred
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques and strategies
- Ability to lift heavy objects or assist with mobility as needed
- Familiarity with the bible and working in a biblical environment is a plus
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain confidentiality

Pay: $12.50 - $14.00 per hour
