Worthington Enterprises is Hiring a Graphic Designer Near Columbus, OH

GRAPHIC DESIGNER (Production Designer)

Are you a talented graphic designer with a passion for consumer products? Our Creative Team at Worthington Enterprises is seeking a dynamic individual to join us! We are looking for someone who not only brings exceptional design skills but also embodies a positive attitude and thrives in a fast-paced work environment.

As part of our team, you will support a variety of projects across the CPG organization. The ideal candidate will be able to drive design thinking from ideation to concept development, refinement, and execution. You should be comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

Communication is key in this role. You will be expected to articulate creative ideas effectively and collaborate with design leadership and cross-functional teams. Experience in package design concept and production, merchandising and displays, digital rich content/infographics, and project coordination is highly desirable. A sharp eye for detail is a must.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Handle versioning for template projects such as product labels, packaging, presentations, and business partner requests from start to finish.
  • Create new design concepts using brand assets and identity guidelines for consumer products, adhering to company quality standards, visual identity standards, tone of voice, and brand positioning.
  • Coordinate internal design reviews, customer approvals, and the pre-press/proofing process with production partners.
  • Execute other design projects including, but not limited to, print marketing, photo editing, digital advertising, and project coordination.
  • Manage the digital asset library and archive.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3 plus years of professional design experience. Packaging design experience a plus.
  • Strong portfolio of relevant marketing, branding, and promotional work that exemplifies branding, typography, layout design, and problem-solving skills
  • Extremely detail-oriented
  • Knowledge of or experience with print production
  • Strong visual communication skills and ability to take direction and feedback
  • Comfortable working one-on-one with non-designers to visually communicate their needs
  • Self-starter with comfort in ambiguous situations
  • Capable of juggling several projects at once and meeting deadlines
  • Team player with a positive attitude

Competency in the following software:

  •  Adobe CC (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • MS Word & PowerPoint
