Position Function: Responsible for operating a forklift for the accurate storing, shipping and receiving of product to meet company standards of safety, security and productivity. The operator is responsible for the accurate checking or counting of all product while ensuring that all product is free of damage and infestation and that production code dates are properly recorded. The Operator is accountable for the safe, orderly and efficient movement of the customer's products. Based on business needs, must be able to support various locations within Worley.

High School diploma or equivalent

Must be able to read and write English

Must be a team player

Good communication skills.

Strong organization skills

Previous forklift experience preferred, forklift certification preferred.

Ability to work well with other people

Desire and willingness to work hard

Prompt regular attendance.

Must be self motivated.

Flexibility in hours worked and willing to work overtime as needed.

Must be able to lift or transfer 530 lbs. constantly; 3150 lbs. occasionally; 51-60 lbs. rarely.

Must be able to push or pull 5-30 lbs. constantly; 31-50 lbs. occasionally; 51-80 lbs. rarely.

Must be able to carry 55 lbs for up to 40 feet, 1-2 times per shift.

Must be able to frequently twist, turn, reach, bend, crouch and squat.

Must be able to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time.

Must have good eye sight (20/20 or corrected to such).

Must have good eye, hand and foot coordination for managing the forklift.

Hearing must meet the Federal hearing standards for CMV drivers.

Employees who have received a Written Warning within the last 3 months or a Final Written Warning within the last 6 months of employment may not be eligible to transfer into an open position.
