What Senior Scientific Associate does at Worldwide

You’ll work closely with the supervisor to ensure accurate and efficient execution of bioanalytical processes. If you’re passionate about advancing bioanalysis research and have a strong foundation in bioanalysis, this role is for you.
What you will do
  • Perform equipment maintenance and operation: Ensure proper functioning, calibration, and maintenance such as freezers and fridges, plate shakers and plate readers.
  • Conduct bioanalytical assays such as Ligand Binding Assays for example MSD (Meso Scale Discovery) singleplex and multiplex assays and ELISA assays.
  • Perform good documentation: thoroughly document all procedures, including steps, reagents, and instrument settings. Maintain clear and organized records for traceability and audit purposes.
  • Analyze data and help drafting data report.
  • Draft work-related document such as working instructions, analytical methods.
  • Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all laboratory procedures, ensuring consistency and compliance. Document deviations and corrective actions as needed.

  • Tenacity, with the ability to multi-task and adjust to a fast paced, virtual environment and constantly changing schedules
  • Detail-oriented mindset
  • A focus on creating effective relationships with a positive team player attitude
  • Proficiency in MS Outlook, Excel, and Word
Your experience
  • Education: minimal request: bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline (Immunology, molecular biology, biochemistry, or related field).
  • Experience: minimal request: bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 1 years of direct laboratory experience. Master's degree with 0-1 year of direct laboratory experience.
  • Promotion to the next level is not automatic based on years of experience. Personnel are evaluated on proven competency, level of responsibility, and ability to work independently.
