Opportunity: International wholesale design company has an immediate openingfor a Client Services Representative Northeast Region and Key Accounts

Responsibilities

· Customer inquiries often involve some form of complaint that the customerservice representative must handle in accordance with the company’s guidelinesand policies.

· Representatives may attempt to solve the problems or at least propose somesolutions.

· Representatives may also be authorized to send customers their replacementproducts or reverse erroneous fees. All claims will be reviewed with CustomerService Manager

· Rep may function like a gatekeeper. Getting information on the problem andpassing it along to someone else to solve. Customer service representativesmust make sure first that the complaints made are valid and must do whateverthey can--within the bounds of their authority--to make sure the customer issatisfied when he hangs up the phone.

Assisting in Sales and Order Entry

· Responsible for all order entry in your territory, from several marketingmethods.

· Selling the company’s products and services may be part of a customerservice representatives’ job, even though he may not be part of the salesdivision.

· Representatives may provide product or service information to assistcustomers in deciding about a product to buy.

· Customer service representatives may also help generate sales leads.Representative may attempt to sell an alternative item or substitute based onavailability.

Clerical Tasks

· The job of a customer service representative may also involve clericalresponsibilities.

· Such duties may involve answering telephone calls and making theappropriate transfers.

· Other duties include processing new client accounts, maintaining customeraccounts, implementing changes to existing accounts, and filing documents andother paperwork.

· Customer Service Rep will need top organizational practices, timemanagement, written and verbal communication skills, well versed in MicrosoftOffice
