WHO we're looking for:
We are looking for a VOC Software QA Engineer (KB) who will be responsible for solving quality problems at an early stages and minimize the loss through technical support when quality issues occur to customers. You will secure the level of quality for customers by carrying out quality collaboration with R&D team.
You will report to the R&D team at Headquarters and your primary focus is to provide customer feedback and quality issues on US market projects.
Role and Responsibilities:
  • Market research on consumer VOCs, tech forums and prepare daily, weekly, monthly status report on outstanding issues and communicate with stake holders.
  • Participates in activities to secure the quality competitiveness of products.
  • Responsible for the verification and validation of latest test devices and software applications by creating, extending, and executing test plans.
  • Participate in solving issues coming from verification department or market and improving quality of Android application.
  • Assist in analyzing test data and reports to determine if design meets functional and performance specifications.
  • Research in experimental test programs and frameworks to evaluate functionality, design requirements and customer expectations.
  • Coordinate with various R&D teams to identify root cause and solution to market issues.
  • Communicate effectively with stake holders and developers in the US and located around the globe.
  • Assist seniors in preparation of progress reports, presentations.
  • Handling high priority escalations of issues.
Required Experience and Education:
  • 2 years of directly related experience is required in Android testing.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
  • Mobile Device Development Lifecycle.
  • Knowledge in Android Smartphone, Tablet devices.
  • Experience in project tracking systems like JIRA.
Necessary Skills and Attributes:
  • Self-motivated individual with the ability to thrive in a team-based or independent environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organization skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Limited supervision and the exercise of discretion.
  • Bilingual, Korean Native Proficiency is must.
  • MS Office Expert- MS Excel, Word, MS PowerPoint.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and great team player.
  • Advanced presentation skills and ability to work effectively with other team members.
  • Work under minimum supervision and tight business deadlines.

Requires considerable (90% ) work utilizing high visual acuity/detail, numeric/character distinction, and moderate hand/finger dexterity.
Performs work under time schedules and stress which are normally periodic or cyclical, including time sensitive deadlines, intellectual challenge, some language barriers, and project management deadlines. May require working additional time beyond normal schedule and periodic travel.
