Join our committed team to coordinate grant reporting for our largest grant contracts. This role is temporarily responsible for monthly reporting including accuracy checks and data entry. This is a remote position working primarily the first two weeks of each month, with flexible hours but firm deadlines, and averaging an estimated 40 hours per month.

This position reports to multiple offices throughout the Chicagoland area including Chicago, Carol Stream, and Aurora, IL.

Role & Responsibilities

Reporting/Data Entry
  • Complete monthly data submissions for grants, including data collection & data entry.
  • Ensure accuracy of data entry/records and eligibility of all clients reported as served.
  • Submit electronic reports to grantors.
  • Assist with the preparation and submission of quarterly, semi-annual, and annual reports as needed.
  • Collaborate with program leads when data questions arise or to gather necessary information for reports, when necessary.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • Detail-oriented: Able to review data for accuracy, and correctly transfer this to appropriate data management system
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills, able to meet deadlines
  • Ability to look behind the data to identify gaps & problems; evaluate the data compared to performance standards and recommend actions
  • Must be fluent in spoken English, have good written communication and typing skills
  • Ability to work independently & remain self-motivated
  • Ability to collaborate with multiple teams & managers about training needs & reporting requirements
  • Ability to do accurate data entry during monthly reporting cycles
  • Ability to flex work hours to meet reporting deadlines

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to have ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations

  • Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm, hand and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment and read application information.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
  • General office setting. World Relief also offers hybrid and remote schedules for limited positions.
  • Great lengths of time working on computer, reading from computer screen, entering information, standing at copier or fax machine, and some time on the phone or in virtual meetings may be required.
  • Year-end archiving activities involve repeated lifting and bending.
