Position Overview:

As a Veterinary Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting our veterinarians in providing comprehensive care to our animal patients. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting with medical procedures, administering treatments, collecting samples, performing laboratory tests, managing patient records, and ensuring a safe and clean environment. Your skills and expertise will contribute to the smooth operation of our clinic and the well-being of our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist veterinarians during examinations, medical procedures, and potentially surgeries
  • Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments under veterinary supervision
  • Collect and analyze laboratory samples, such as blood, urine, and tissue specimens
  • Perform diagnostic tests, including radiographs, assist with ultrasounds, and laboratory procedures
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
  • Educate pet owners on proper animal care, including medication administration and post-operative instructions
  • Ensure a clean and organized work environment, including the sterilization of equipment and instruments
  • Collaborate effectively with the veterinary team to provide comprehensive and compassionate care
  • Have a willingness to grow and have fun

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Veterinary Technician
  • Solid understanding of veterinary medicine, procedures, and terminology
  • Proficient in administering medications and treatments
  • Experience in sample collection, laboratory testing, and diagnostic procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Passion for animal care and a dedication to their well-being
  • Have a positive attitude, willing to make Tik Toks and have fun while at work
  • Certified or licensed as a Veterinary Technician is a plus!
  • Willing to grow and learn new skills
